Rory is a caricature artist and illustrator at Funky Doodles, and is based in Northern Ireland.

Caricature art has always been his passion. He loves coming up with ideas and liaising with clients to produce unique personalised artwork! 

Rory is a self taught caricaturist, initially learning his craft in secondary school by drawing funny pictures of his teachers instead of listening to them teach! Following this he began studying caricature art and mastering his craft studying the work of professional caricature and cartoon artist such as Tom Richmond and Mort Drucker. He now provides enteraintment at weddings, parties and corporate events with live caricature drawings of guests, which he loves doing.

When he is not travelling to different venues he spends most of his time in his studio completing commissions.

He provides caricatured personalised portraits in all kinds of formats and for all occasions from Fathers Day to end of term teachers gifts!

Rory is an author & illustrator who debuts with the spooky fairy tale picture book, Hopeful Harold & His Haunted Home.

Rory has featured in the popular TV show Derry Girls, and has produced illustrations for many well-known names, while entertaining at weddings and events with live caricature drawings.

Hopeful Harold & His Haunted Home, is the first of a collection of children’s fairy tales to be released in what is an exciting new venture into the world of publishing.

In this first book, Harold the Vampire and his spooky housemates must work together to rebuild their Magic Spirit and save their haunted home; all while hiding their true identity from scary humans. It is a big task, but if they can capture the magic of human emotions and find a way to repay the loan on their home, then
